2014 Great Aloha Run
HONOLULU, HI >> Brothers from Leeward Lodge, joined by members of their families, got off their beds early on Presidents' Day and gathered at the Nimitz Highway to volunteer for this year's Great Aloha Run. Leeward Lodge members passed out water to thousands of runners and walkers in the Hawaii's "compassionate race." The Worshipful Master and his Lady likewise volunteered at the packet pick-up site at Blaisdell Center prior to the race.The Great Aloha Run marked its 30th year this year. Since 1985, this island race has given out over $9.6 million to over 150 non-profit organizations in Hawaii.
